Delete your Andesha account
Andesha is a voice and text mood diary by Amirich LLC. This page explains how to delete your account and data, what is deleted and when, and how to request deletion if you no longer have the app.
Delete in the app
- Open Andesha and go to the “Profile” tab.
- Open “Privacy”, tap “Delete Account”, then “Continue”.
- Enter your email and tap “Send Code”. The code is sent to the email address of your account and is valid for 10 minutes.
- Enter the code and tap “Verify”.
- Enter your password and tap “Delete”.
The app then signs you out, and the account can no longer be used on any device.
If you have a subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play: the store keeps charging you until you cancel it yourself. Before deletion the app warns you about this and offers to open the store's subscription settings.
- App Store: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
- Google Play: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
Unused AI tokens are not refunded when you delete your account, except where the law requires a refund.
What is deleted and when
Right away:
- the account is deactivated and moved to an archive for 50 days, and it cannot be used on any device;
- the app erases its local database and sign-in tokens from your phone.
During those 50 days you can change your mind: simply sign in with your email and password, and everything is restored.
When the 50 days are over, a background process on our servers (it runs every 6 hours) permanently deletes:
- your profile: email address, name, phone, bio, avatar and settings;
- all diaries and entries, voice recordings and their transcripts, photos and the text recognised from them;
- AI analysis results, daily summaries, conversations with MoodAI and AI memory;
- goals, quotes of the day and support messages;
- your token balance, subscription details and consent records;
- your personal encryption key.
After that the account cannot be restored.
What we keep after deletion
- Records of purchases and payments: product, amount, currency, date and App Store, Google Play and Stripe transaction identifiers. They are unlinked from the deleted account and kept for accounting and tax purposes and so that the same purchase cannot be credited twice.
- Impersonal advertising statistics (Free plan): ad impressions and taps without a link to the account.
- Security logs of the service, without any diary content, for up to 180 days.
- Technical server logs, until they are automatically overwritten; the content of diary entries is not written to them.
- The minimum needed to defend against legal claims.
Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) handle in-app purchases as independent controllers: they keep their own records of your purchases under their own terms and privacy policies, and deleting your Andesha account does not delete those records. Stripe also keeps records of payments on our website under its own rules. Copies held by our processors, such as OpenAI, are deleted on their own schedules under our agreements with them.
Delete without the app
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email amirich.corp@gmail.com from the address linked to your Andesha account, with the subject “Account deletion”.
- We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours, usually with a code sent to that address. We never ask for your password.
- We respond within 30 days.
- By default the account is deleted the same way as in the app: 50 days in the archive, then permanently. If you want it deleted immediately, without the archive, say so in your email; such a deletion cannot be undone.
- If you no longer have access to that mailbox, tell us the address of the account and we will help you confirm ownership another way.
Delete only some of your data
You do not have to delete the whole account: a single entry can be deleted right in the diary, and it is erased from our servers immediately, with its audio and photos, without an archive period. Before deleting your account, save your entries with “Profile” → “Export Diary”.
